BROMWICH SETTERS
About Us

I bought my first English Setter when I was 17 years old.  Her name was CH. Rainbow's Peaches 'N Creme.  She was my first Champion.  Roy and I were married in 1981 and then bought a house in Lindenhurst, NY and we got our first Gordon Setter from  my mom and dad, Virginia and John Radonis.  Her name was CH. Wildwood's Blue Tango and was the start of our kennel name, Bromwich.  Tango produced the Number 1 Gordon for 1989 and 1990, CH. Bromwich's Full Stride.   We then got our second English from Jean Jameson and her name was CH. Daw-Ankas Ain't Misbehavin.  She was the foundation for our English Setters.  A few years later we moved upstate to Orange County, New York. This is where our breeding program really took off!  We had several English and Gordon Setter Litters.  We had only one litter of Irish.  We had leased an Irish Setter bitch to be bred to our male, CH. Hallmark Photo Finish.  That litter did very well and produced, CH. Bromwich's Triple Crown who was a top 10 Irish setter.  In 1997 Rebecca, our daughter, was born.  Rebecca enjoys working the dogs in obedience with 4-H.  She also enjoys showing the dogs in Junior Showmanship. After 12 years we finally had a Gordon Setter litter in 2008.  We co-bred this litter with my mom, Virginia Radonis, and sisters Jennifer Radonis and Pam Scott.  It is very exciting to bring back alot of our old dogs in this breeding! You can see that litter under puppies. We hope you enjoy our website with our beautiful dogs!
